A Curious Children's Album

Monique Donnelly

Monique Donnelly had no choice in the matter.  Her mother dressed her up in pigtails and bows just like her two older sisters and threw her up on stage to sing at the ripe old age of one year.  It’s a good thing too.  Singing and watching lives being touched through music has been become her passion.  From singing in convalescent homes to backing up Barabra Streisand for the President of the United States, God has taught her to be available to be God’s instrument wherever she goes.

Monique’s professional career began at age eight, with kid’s album recordings, national commercials, and projects for well-known companies such as Disney, Mattel and Kawasaki.  Upon entering Azusa Pacific University to study Vocal Performance and Composition, Monique continued to sing professionally and was hired for national commercials and numerous film and television soundtracks, including: Malcolm In The Middle, Anastasia and A Bugʼs Life, among others.

To date, Monique has recorded on over fifty major motion film scores including such recent projects as Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2, Rio and upcoming animated features Happy Feet Two and Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.  Her vocals have also been a part of recordings for Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli and Weird Al Yankovich.

A seasoned professional, Moniqueʼs career continues to grow as more and more industry professionals are introduced to her vocal talents.  You can also catch her co-hosting the radio program “Worship Factory” on KKLA 99.5 on Saturday evenings from 7-8pm.
